An E-book that includes your marketing message and a link to your website is a proven technique in viral marketing. Using viral E-books as a marketing method is cheap. It doesn’t take long to set up and it’s even quicker if you use rebrandable E-books that have been written by others.
This is the basic principle that was used by Hotmail to get established. When the two founders set up their free email system, all the messages that were sent by subscribers had a text message at the bottom which identified Hotmail as the origin. People who sent emails to their friends advertised the free email site.
Using viral E-books as a marketing method is cheap. It doesn’t take long to set up and it’s even quicker if you use rebrandable E-books that have been written by others. Just use your favorite search engine and do a web search. You will find many rebrandable E-books that are available on whatever subject you are interested in and that apply to your e-business. One method of distributing the E-book is to offer it to visitors in exchange for subscribing to your newsletter. If they pass it on to their friends and family it will promote your business for you.
E-books are fairly easy to create. It’s possible to produce your own E-books by combining articles that you have written or have gotten from public domain sources, such as directories.
E-books are capable of reaching a large audience and are limited only by the enthusiasm of the participants.
A common approach is to use material that has Private Label Rights, including articles and reports that have been written specifically for that purpose, for that niche. Using a portion of a larger work that you have prepared such as the first three chapters of a large E-book could also be used as a viral E-book.
What Works & What Doesn't. A true viral campaign gets forwarded because consumers are compelled to do so by the glory of the content, not because you bribed them with points or something else.

Recent studies unveiled that more than 80% of Americans want to write a book. Meanwhile the National Endowment for Arts reports that only 57 percent of American have read even one book in the last twelve months!
Regardless of that reading-writing paradox, this article will tell you how you can get published even though you never have the chance before.
What makes you want to put something on paper and publish it?
Most people will agree that the common answer for that question is simply fame and fortune. If you have a business, then by publishing a book or an ebook you can gain a reputation as an expert in your business.
Whatever the reason is, the chance that you will see your manuscripts published by a reputable institution is slim.
Beside of your manuscripts - assuming that you've completed each - there are other two million manuscripts currently completed and ready to be published. On the other hand, there are only 64,000 publishers on record, and only a small number of those are actively seeking new manuscripts.
Most of those two million books stand no chance of being accepted by a traditional publisher. Those authors that do make the cut are not necessarily the best writers, but rather are those who can sell themselves and their stories most convincingly.
So, what makes you and your manuscripts stay out of the crowd?
Here is the first thing you should do. Make sure your manuscripts are the best they can be. Proof reading, editing or even rewriting by an outside firm or well-read and literate friend would give much help.
Some authors, after rejections from the trade, will find themselves victims of vanity publishers, who take advantage of the hopes and aspirations of writers to extract an exorbitant fee to 'publish' their book.
